"Facing the Dark Side" Part II - De Poemas

1) The Psalmist Says (Sin to Glory) The Psalmist says: it is good at times to be inflicted, so one might learn God's decrees (Palm 119: 71) What I think the Psalmist is really saying is: The purpose of sickness can be the cause of sin-can be, not necessarily is! (Because of backsliding.
)
In that the Lord has called you to his eternal glory!...
Hence, after the suffering, His intentions are to restore you- Make you strong and firm again.
Note 1: 1 Peter 5:10 & 2 Cor.
1:4 Note 2: Many of the poems in "Facing the Dark Side" were inspired by writings of Billy Graham (directly or indirectly).
Note 3: Poem: 4022 (8-8-2013); Galilean # 436 Note 4: Backsliding: lapse in sin.
2) Torments Satan is the messenger of many torments-! When Daniel saw in a vision of what was to come, he fainted!...
(Dan 8:26-27) The Apostle Paul, did the same!...
Such experiences can bring about mental illness, physical weakness.
(1 Cor.
2:3)
One must-during these trials-seek Christ's grace, it will be sufficient! Thus, you need to ask Him to intervene!...
Life with its torments, its hardships one must bear, like it or not- "For when I am weak, then I am strong" (2 Cor.
12)
So said, Christ to his apostles...
Note 1: "People are destroyed from the lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6) Note 2: Poem # 4023/written 8-8-2013 (Galilean #437) 3) The Last Enemy (Death) So the battle is with Death And must be faced In Hebrews it says: (9:27 KJV): "It is appointed unto man once to die.
" Now the devil's lie: "Death happens to others" (not you, not yet).
So death comes, and you are not prepared (surprised)...
Jesus reminds us: "The last enemy to be destroyed is death" - (1 Cor.
15: 25, 26) But until then, until He puts death under his heel Death reigns...
Note 1: Death was never in God's plan, nor sin, pain or disease, it was the penalty for Adam and Eve's ill chosen choice- Note 2: Poem # 4026/Galilean: 440 (written 8-9-2013) 4) Men with Clouded Minds What is God's will? The Psalmist says: "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made...
" (Psalm 139:14) In Deuteronomy (32:39): "I put to death and I bring to life, I have wounded and I will heal and no one can deliver from my hand.
" Who is to say: the Lord is finished with this person, or with that person, but the Lord! As with Elijah who ran from Queen Jezebel and cried out for death (1 Kings 19:4) You see, the Lord was not finished with Elijah, as with Moses, as with Job, should God have given them their wishes...
(for all sought death before their time) Consequently, for clouded minds: euthanasia, abortion, heroic efforts to sustain a loved one's life: to delay death, or permitting death to occur unnaturally, is playing God.
Poem # 4030 (Galilean: 444) Written 8-10-2013) 5) Shadow of Death You will walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death- The question that arises is: will you have good reason to fear death and its evil shadow? (Psalm 23:4) It goes something like this: evil is evil, as death is death, It can hurt!...
But evil's shadow and death's shadow can do nothing...
they are just shadows, no more...
to a Christian.
The most that can be said is this: death has run you over with its shadow-big deal! (Psalm 23) As a result, you need not fear death or even its shadow if indeed you are in Christ.
Poem: 4034 ((Galilean: 448) (10-11-2013)) 6) The Devil Chooses Too Choosing not to believe in Satan, will not pardon you from his wickedness, his hatred for God, channeled through man! It is his devious tricks he uses to make man think he doesn't exist-; he is a liar a deceiver- On the other hand, choosing to believe in Him, to an obsessive-ness, he still wins-for it is one step away from possession, or two steps away from deactivation, as a worthwhile: usable and available Christian.
He will whisper, "Heaven can wait," he tries to rob you of your inheritance.
(1 Peter 1:3-4) Poem: 4040 (8-11-2013) Galilean: 449 7) Whatever Happened to Hell? Whatever happened to Hell? Today it has become taboo! Jesus spoke of the Horrors of Hell: Where there will be darkness and garnishing of teeth...
(I have seen this in a 1984 vision) Mathew 8:12 What have we done? We have blocked out the Afterlife, for this life-neglected the question of: "The Horrors of Hell" - (Mathew 10:28) Being told it was just a "Scarecrow"- And "unscientific" but that doesn't Mean it doesn't exist...
! Notes 1: Written: 10-8-2013/#4082 (Galilean: 482) Note 2: In a 1987, Gallop Pole: 47% of Americans did not believe in Hell; yet 66% believed in Heaven (how convenient) Note 3: Additional data said: 26% of Baptists believe they will go to Heaven; 41 % of Catholics believe they will go to heaven; 20% of Lutherans, and 24% of Protestants.
Note 4: Europe: 17% of Sweden's populations believe in Hell; 22% of the French people; 23% for the English; 25% for Switzerland.
28% for the Netherlands and 25% in West Germany Note 5: Doctors and scientists have proclaimed Christianity is unscientific, yet when a miracle takes place they have no alternative but to say: "It baffles us".
Where there is no scientific reason for them to have survived, they still avoid the phenomenon that it could be providence! As in my case (1994) after two-heart attacks, and a stroke, and 12-hours of seizures, in a semi coma state, the doctors announce "He's a fruitcake" in other words my mind was frayed, and yet in three days thereafter, I somehow climbed out of the dead-zone.
How? With the prayers of my mother and several churches! And up to today I have written 46-books.
Hence, my conclusion would be: science can be unscientific, or science is simple not at the state it would like to be: where the hand of God steps in, they can do little for.
8) The Seven Hells There is no escape for non-believers from this land commonly called: "Hell" (Matthew 23:33) says Jesus.
Once there, there is no second chance- "I am in agony in this fire," said the rich man, with parched lips- pleading to Abraham to ask Lazarus to dip his finger in some water and bring it to him to cool his tongue- Written: 8-11-2013 (Poem: 4041/ Galilean: 450)
