• 1). Trace the lower case letters and numbers onto one color of the card stock. Cut out the letters and numbers.
  
  
• 2). Cut different colors of card stock into four equal pieces using the paper cutter. Cut scrapbook paper into squares smaller than the card stock. The card stock acts as a border for the scrapbook paper.
  
  
• 3). Alternate the order of the card stock and scrapbook paper to give variety to the banner. Glue the scrapbook paper and card stock together. Glue the letters and numbers to the scrapbook paper.
  
  
• 4). Punch two holes in the top of each card with the hole punch.
  
  
• 5). String the ribbon through the holes and either knot it at the back of each card or use one long pieces of ribbon through all the cards. The banner is ready for hanging.
