There are also colored contact lenses that provide dramatic color changes to the eyes and special-effect contact lenses that enable the eyes to look like the eyes of animals, monsters and so on.

Contact lenses are stored in their own disinfecting solution and you cannot store them in water. If there is a small tear or chip to the contact lenses, discontinue their use. Wearing damaged contact lenses can damage and scar your eyes. Replace contact lenses as recommended by the eye doctor. Frequent checkups are also recommended in the first year of use so that any irritation or inflammation that happens can be treated right away.
