Homemade Toothpaste With Glycerin
- 1). Take about a dessert spoon of salt, grind it up as fine as you can with a salt mill or pestle and mortar.
- 2). Mix one part salt to six parts baking soda in a bowl. The salt is the abrasive part that removes built-up food and the baking soda acts as cleanser.
- 3). Add a few drops of peppermint oil or whichever flavor you prefer.
- 4). Add glycerin a little at a time, mixing until the consistency is smooth and paste-like.
- 5). Spoon the mixture into a screw top pot or squeezable bottle and use twice a day to keep your teeth shiny, healthy and clean.
