Hi, I'm Johnny Mo the musical chef. And I'm here to tell you how to cut sausage for a meat tray. It's a perfect dish that goes well with everything so I hope you enjoy. Our first style that we have is a summer style sausage which is a little softer and mild flavor. Our second sausage today is a hard salami. It's great as well and goes better with cheeses. First we'll slice directly down about quarter inch slices. After that you can lay them out and cut half moon shapes out of them as well. It makes it a little easier to bite. Now for the hard salami. I prefer to cut this one a bias. But be sure to watch your fingers, this is a little more difficult to cut then the summer sausage. A bias cut is when the sausage is cut on an angle to give a little more eye appeal. And that was how to cut sausage for a meat tray. But remember there's several different varieties of meat you can use. I chose the hard salami and the summer sausage. You can find anything you need at your local grocer.
