Bo and John talk of ways in which they are going to try to find out the truth about Todd’s mystery woman. John lets Bo know that Jessica is somehow involved and it won’t be easy keeping her name out of when they catch Todd. Bo promises to have a talk with Jess. In the meantime, John finds the evidence from the Ramsey murder scene. John finds a video tape that reads “Ramsey Security Camera, March 1 – June 28 2008.” Blair brings Sam downstairs, wondering where the babysitter is.

Dorian is working from home and offers to watch Sam; Blair explains that she has to attend a custody hearing. Blair and Dorian both hope that Todd is refused custody of his son. While Dorian is watching Sam, Langston comes home, she and Dorian begin to talk about relationships and how it’s not important to be related by blood in order to have a wonderful relationship. Langston knew that her family, which came from Columbia, prided themselves on their blood relative and heritage, but being with Dorian has made her see that blood really doesn’t matter. When Dorian leaves the room, Langston starts to research her family name.

Todd brings Marty lunch and informs her that he’s going to a custody hearing and hopes to get same back. Todd reassures Marty when she fears that Jess will tell John she is there by telling Marty that he’ll always be there for her. Marty wishes Todd luck. Blair and Todd, along with their lawyers, arrive in court. Blair’s lawyer makes a great defense, saying that Sam is in a loving home and is developmentally ahead of schedule.

Todd exclaims that he wants his son back, to which the judge reminds Todd that he was supposed to attend anger management classes and driver improvement classes – both of which Todd didn’t even attempt to attend. The judge rules that Sam is to remain with Blair for at least another year. Todd blames Blair for taking his kids away from him, Blair reminds Todd that this all stemmed from his stubbornness and tries to make him realize that it’s his fault he lost his children. Todd storms out of the courtroom.

Tina’s curiosity about Leo, the contractor, heightens after she hears Jessica telling Leo to never come in the front door – always use the back door. Tina and Jess hear Natalie and Jared arguing, Natalie doesn’t want Jared to go thru with Clint’s plan, Jared reveals that he’s already got the plane ticket and leaves in a few hours. Jess and Tina try to give their opinions but Natalie doesn’t want to hear them. Jared wishes Natalie would support him on his decision; he leans in for a kiss before he leaves for the airport but Natalie pulls back. Tina scopes around the house a little more while Tess has Leo install hidden video cameras. Tina sees Leo going near the safe and screams out, diverting his attention. Tess realizes that there’s something in the safe Tina doesn’t want them to see. Leo is just finishing installing a video camera when Bo walks in and asks what’s going on.

Natalie follows Jared to the airport, she explains that she still doesn’t believe Jared is doing the right thing but she didn’t want him flying to another country with her mad at him – they kiss and make up. Todd returns home to Marty and tells her that bad news about Sam. Todd also tells her that he’s got good news, he talked with Starr and she agreed to let him raise his grandchild. . .
