(When people hear music, it is easier for them to get motivated.) While you are moving and doing the chores, tighten up your muscles in order to make the most of it.

    • 2). If going shopping is a favorite (or at least regular) task for you, it will be simple to turn it into exercise. You can start by changing how you walk from shop to shop. Pump your arms more and tighten your muscles while walking. Start using the stairs instead of the escalators. When you have made your purchases, it is easy to sculpt your arm muscles by carrying those heavy bags. Remember to keep the weight evenly distributed between your hands to maintain a good balance.

    • 3). When you garden, instead of using a leaf blower, try a rake. Instead of a riding lawn mower, use a push mower. Try to do things manually instead of taking the easy way out. Push yourself to get into it.

    • 4). Watching TV is a favorite pastime of many people. Instead of flipping through the channels with a remote, get up and change the station on the set. Yes, it can get irritating, but this simple exercise can make a difference. And when a commercial comes on, get up and walk around. Stretch your muscles.

    • 5). If you are at work in any other building with multiple stories, use a bathroom on a different floor. This will force you to get up and use the stairs.

    • 6). Carry one bag at a time. If you are bringing in the bags from grocery shopping, it will be better exercise if you make more trips.
