Can I Build Muscle and Lose Fat at the Same Time?
You will find out the honest truth here.
It is almost impossible to build muscle and lose fat at the same time.
The main problem is that you can't build muscle while you have calorie deficit, and you can't lose fat while you have calorie surplus.
It is one way or the other.
You have to be on steroids or naturally gifted to experience the magic of getting best of both world.
I do not care if you are eating 10 million calories worth of broccoli, you will not shed any weight no matter what other people would tell you if you have a surplus in calories.
There are exceptions to this.
If you are a complete beginner who has never lifted weights (or lifting heavy stuff as a job), then you will experience a bit of muscle gain when you workout even while you are losing weight.
If you want to get ripped naturally, you have to first build up your mass, and then follow a plan to diet down.
You must choose one or the other.
Your body will get no where if you keep confusing your body when you keep trying to do both at the same time.
What you need to do is write out your goals.
Do you want to gain 30, 40, or even 50 pounds of weight? If so, write that down, and then decide how much weight you want to lose.
Everything should be slow and steady.
If you gain or lose too much weight too quickly, you are most likely building up fat or losing muscles.
