With so many companies claiming to have found the magic formula for health and vitality, let's take a look at how does Zija measures up in this highly competitive market place.
Zija was founded in 2006 by Kenneth Brailsford who is no stranger to the network marketing health supplement arena.
Being the first to introduce herbs commercially into capsules during the 1970's, Brailsford is often referred to as the "Father of Herbal Encapsulation".
This pioneer of network marketing industry has put together a strong leadership team including Rodney Larsen and Michael Hershberger.
Some of the core values of the organisation include empowerment, financial wellness & health.
What's the Zija Product? The products are based around the miracle tree Moringa tree.
The products are said to have a unique nutritional profile of complete plant protein, antioxidant, omega oils, vitamins and minerals.
This blend is available in: various drink cans; sachets of powder;as a weight management capsule;as a skin care product.
How is Zija sold? This is sold in the traditional network marketing way.
Here members approach friends, family and their extended network in the effort that they become distributors or consumers of the Zija Product range.
Can Zija Be a Profitable Opportunity for the Distributor? It is at this point I become a little skeptical.
Yes no doubt there is a place for this product and consumers gain notable benefits from the Zija product range.
However whether a distributor can make a solid income from this business leaves a question mark for me.
The commission plan as with many other network marketing businesses is complex and multi level.
For example a distributor, otherwise known as a Zija "Builder" if positioned correctly has the opportunity to earn around 500 dollars per week plus 15% on team commissions.
Obviously as you go up the ladder to Leadership, Senior Leadership, Diamond Executive and Diamond Elite then the earnings are significantly more.
However, it is unclear as to how much structured support in the form of free ongoing training is available to help distributors become one of the top earners.
This product and concept is very much reliant on the distributor being able to recruit a team and doing just that takes up a great deal of time, effort and energy.
