Athens International Airport--the airport that serves Athens, Greece--boasts many hotels in its vicinity; many of which are international luxury hotel chains. From any of these hotels, travelers can get to Athens International Airport and into the city of Athens itself in just a few kilometers.
  
  

Sofitel Athens Airport

• Sofitel, a luxury hotel chain, lists Athens Airport as one of its locations. The hotel is located only 50 meters from the airport, according to the location's website. The hotel has 345 rooms, 12 suites and one presidential suite. All of the Sofitel's rooms come with air conditioning, a safe, a minibar, pay TV, on-demand video, high-speed Internet and room service around the clock. As of late August 2010, Superior rooms go for around $235 per night and come either with one queen or two single beds. The same is true of Luxury Rooms, which go for $280 per night and have panoramic views. The Luxury Room Club allows guests access to the VIP lounge. The Prestige Suite goes for around $431 per night and has a king-size bed, two TVs, a DVD player and a separate living room. The Pantheon Hotel

• The Pantheon Hotel is located in a suburb of Athens called Markopoulo, close to the Athens Airport. The Pantheon Hotel is considerably smaller than many, consisting of only 15 rooms, but it also boasts recent renovation (2010), a large lounge and a bar. The hotel is also only nine kilometers from Athens International Airport and 25 kilometers from the city of Athens. As of late August 2010, a single room goes for around $89 per night, whereas a double room costs around $102 and a triple room goes for $114 per night. • There is also a Holiday Inn in the vicinity of Athens International Airport. The hotel is located only eight minutes or so from the airport and there is shuttle bus service---on a specific schedule--between the two locations. The hotel has 180 regular rooms, 11 executive rooms and three suites and boasts high-speed wireless Internet access. All rooms have cable TV with pay-per-view and video games available, as well as a safe, a desk, a phone and air conditioning. As of late August 2010,a regular room costs around $161 per night, while a top-floor room with a king bed goes for $193 per night and a suite costs around $338 per night.
