Smugglers' Notch Resort

• The Smugglers' Notch Resort is built at the foothill of three adjoining mountain peaks. Smugglers' Notch Resort is located in Smugglers' Notch, Vermont, which is 15 miles from Johnson. The accommodations at Smugglers' Notch Resort are an assortment of condominium communities scattered throughout the property. Sterling Room Log Cabin Resort

• The Sterling Room Log Cabin Resort's accommodations are one- and two-bedroom log cabins. This resort is located in Jeffersonville, which is nine miles from Johnson. The Pond House, which has four bedrooms, is also available for booking. The resort offers stunning views of Mount Mansfield and is open year-round. A 14-acre pound is located on the property and provides trout fishing and row-boating. This hotel also features an indoor pool and outdoor hot tubs. During the winter months, guests can take advantage of the resort's cross-country skiing, snowmobile and snowshoe trails. All of the mountains at Smugglers' Notch are four miles from the Sterling Room. Lamoile River is also a major attraction and is located extremely close to the resort. Stowe Mountain Resort

• The Stowe Mountain Resort consists of condo rentals, Stowe Mountain Lodge, the Inn at the Mountain and off-mountain lodging. This resort is located in Stowe, which is 22 miles from Johnson. The Inn at the Mountain features 32 rooms and boasts a double chairlift that goes straight to the trails. The Inn at the Mountain also features a banquet hall and exercise rooms. The Fireside Tavern is the on-site restaurant and serves lunch and dinner. The Stowe Mountain Lodge features 312 rooms spread out over six stories. The Stowe Mountain Lodge offers guest rooms and suites and features the Stowe Mountain Golf Club. Solstice, the on-site restaurant at Stowe Mountain Lodge, serves breakfast and dinner. The hotels at Stowe Mountain are very close to the other mountains in the area and attractions such as downtown Stowe. Sunset Motor Inn

• The Sunset Motor Inn features 55 rooms and three houses that are available for booking. This inn is located in Morrisville, which is six miles from Johnson. Children under the age of 12 stay free with parents. The Stonegrill Pub, next door to the inn, serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, and guests receive a discount. The location of this inn allows guests to take advantage of the skiing at Jay Peak, Smugglers' Notch and Mount Mansfield.
