Hi, my name is Brian McCullough, with the Standard Pour, here in Dallas, Texas. Today, I'm going to show you how to make a gin sangria margarita. Now, this is a very fun twist to a classic cocktail. First off, of course we're substituting the tequila for gin. For this, we're going to use a fantastic London dry gin. Two ounces of this, right into our shaker tin, with ice. Of course, we're going to add a little bit of cointreau, 3/4 of an ounce of cointreau. Now for this, since we're doing a sangria, we're going to take some Rioja wine from Spain, of course where the sangria comes from. And for this, we're going to add an ounce. Now, we're also going to add some lime juice. We're going to do a half ounce of lime juice, but we're also going to add a little bit of fresh pineapple juice. Not every sangria uses pineapples. There's very different recipes for a sangria. I like to add a little pineapple to it. It gives it that nice little extra sweetness. Plus, it gives a nice little punch behind that red wine. We're not going to add any simple syrup or anything else like that. That is all we're going to do. We're going to give this a nice little shake. We're gonna strain this, and I'm using a snifter glass because I think it's a nice representation for a sangria-style cocktail. And sangrias are great to have nice, fun garnishes in as well, so we're going to throw a couple lime wheels in there, as well as some nice orange wedges. And this is a beautiful way to have the perfect margarita sangria with gin. Thank you very much for watching.
