How Do You Do It All, AND Pay for It All?
I want to reach out to all moms out there...and I won't say "working" moms because the truth is, ALL moms work! Full time and then some! Up until this winter we had one son (soon to be 3 yrs old), but added another newborn boy to our tribe in January. And with two kids, the work increased four fold! Add to them the dogs, horses, and a new house, and my plate was overflowing.
As we all know, establishing a routine goes a long way. I work outside of the house part time now (used to be full time), and most of my days are occupied by cleaning, organizing, washing everyone and everything, and cleaning up again! My husband is employed but his paycheck is stretched thinner every week. Increased costs of groceries, gas, and just about everything else, on top of a modest credit card debt leftover from our wedding and, honestly, from a time when we always thought we'd be able to pay it off!
So I became determined to find a way to make money from home. Ebay was my first project, only to discover their fees eat up all of my profit. I tried selling my homemade crafts and designs, but there just wasn't enough of a demand. I've always known a "desk job" wasn't for me, so I figured internet marketing was OUT. I just didn't have the attention span OR a quiet enough environment to sit down and concentrate on it.
Then through a chance I almost didn't take, I found a program that not only WORKS, but requires very little of my time and effort. I'm not going to tell you I make $5k a week, because I don't. It's usually a couple hundred. But it's the grocery and cable bill, right?
I just want to tell you all not to lose hope that there IS a way to do it all and pay the bills. You DON'T have to sacrifice time with your family in order to feed them. Stay strong parents, you make the world go 'round!
