How to Create a Character on World of Warcraft
- 1). Launch World of Warcraft.
- 2). Log into your account.
- 3). Choose your home country and choose which realm you would like to be a part of. "PvP" realms are best if you wish to be able to fight enemy players at any time. If this is not for you, choose "Normal." Realm really does not matter much unless you know other players who play on a specific realm. In that case, to play with them you would need to choose that specific realm.
- 4). Click "Create New Character." Choose "Alliance" or "Horde" and choose which race you would like to be. The available races for Alliance include Human, Dwarf, Night Elf, Gnome, Worgen and Dranei. The available races for Horde are Orc, Undead, Tauren, Troll, Blood Elf and Goblins.
- 5). Choose which class you would like to be. Classes are the same for both Alliance and Horde characters but vary slightly depending on which race you choose. Not all classes are available for every race. You can choose from Warrior, Mage, Druid, Death Knight, Hunter, Paladin, Priest, Rogue and Shaman.
- 6). Choose sex of your character and appearance. You may customize your character's hair color, skin color, face, hair style and piercings.
- 7). Choose a name for your character. You will have to choose a name that is not already taken. When you are finished customizing, click "Accept." Your character will now be created and ready to play.
