Home Remedies You Can Use For Wart Removal
These home remedies are mostly natural and are made from items that you may already have at home.
What kind of home remedies that you can use to get rid of your warts? Here are some of them.
1.
Apple cider vinegar.
Apple cider vinegar or APV is considered to be one of the more effective home remedies for warts.
That is because APV has high levels of citric acid in it.
To use APV for your warts, you only need to dab a small bit of cotton into the vinegar and apply it to your warts.
Be very careful to avoid the normal skin surrounding the wart because APV can damage them.
Soon enough, the top layer of your wart will turn black and it will fall off on its own.
2.
Duct tape.
A lot of people swear by duct tape as an effective home treatment for warts.
What you do here is to cut up bits of duct tape and put them on your warts.
Wait for a week before you remove them, and once you do, soak the warts in warm water.
They will be easy to scrape off after that.
3.
Garlic.
Garlic is also said to be good at burning off warts.
If you want to use garlic, all you need to do is to crush a clove to release its oils and then rub the clove on your warts.
You need to do this every night for a whole month.
At the end of that month, the garlic may end up burning the wart enough for it to fall off.
If not, you can soak it in warm water and scrape it off.
4.
Essential oils.
Tea tree oils are also known for their effectiveness against warts.
Just like APV, they have a high concentration of citric acid.
You apply tea tree oils on your wart just as you would APV and repeat the process nightly.
After a week or so, you can use a nail file or pumice stone to scrub off the wart.
If the warts are not too stubborn or are not located on your genitals, you can rely on home remedies for wart removal.
However, you should keep in mind that professional treatment from a doctor is still the best method for getting rid of warts.
