Root Damage on Perennials

104 62

Symptoms

  • Damaged roots are unable to effectively absorb nutrients and water from the soil. They may wilt, show poor growth, produce deformed or small fruit, or drop leaves and flowers before they are fully open. Roots that are diseased are soft, soggy, brown or black. They may be shriveled. Healthy roots are firm, with white tips.
