The majority of people are on cloud nine when they see their weight coming down.
A diet no matter what it is always works in the beginning, but eventually progress stops and weight comes back as usual.
But the hardest thing to accomplish is to maintain your weight, not just for a short period.
When people want to lose some weight, then it is usually for some big event.
A wedding is a very good example.
The brides and grooms desperately want to lose as much weight as possible as soon as possible.
They want to look good in front of the altar.

So I promised to revile 5 tips how to successfully maintain your weight.
So here we go.

Increase your activity level.
The human body is built to walk, run, hunt, jump and so on.
But most people these days sit in front of the computer or TV screen.
Exercise improves weight loss and is very important to maintain your weight also.
The more you move yourself the more you burn calories.

Decrease sedentary recreational activities.
TV watching, computer games and web surfing are not very helpful.
They do not burn calories.
Try to reduce those things as much as possible.
Go outside and breath some fresh air.
People are so addicted to the TV and computers that it is hard to comprehend.

A big mistake that a lot of folks do, especially women, is only doing cardio in the gym.
Weight training is a very important factor and even essential during weight maintenance.
Recently I saw a 87 year old women doing weight training on TV.
It works for everybody no matter how old or young you are.
It is a big misconception to think that weight training is only for bodybuilders and "macho" men.
4.
Count calories and nutrients, measure your portion sizes, weigh your food, plan your menus in writing and monitor your body weight and body fat percentage.
If keep absolutely no count of your calories, then you can easily gain all the weight back very quickly.
5.
Positive beliefs and attitudes.
If you are always negative and in bad mood, then it affects your training and nutrition as well.
Always keep a positive attitude.
If you don't lose a pound in week like you hoped you would, then think that "well, at least I didn't gain anything.
" Stop finding stupid excuses why you can't train or why you have to eat that extra piece of pizza.
Don´t worry be happy! So these are the 5 simple tips that I am sure you already knew but maybe forgot.
Just keep going and don't give up.
The more you wait the harder it will get to lose or to maintain weight.
