There was an interesting article out this past week which says in effect, the only way to repair your credit is time.

The article also went on to say things that are accurate on your credit report cannot be removed by anybody.
I had to laugh at this statement because we know this to not be the truth.

Nowhere in Credit Reporting Laws does it state, "All Negative Credit Items MUST Be On A Credit Report!" The fact of the matter is, no negative item even has to be listed on a credit report, and as such, the person who puts the item onto your credit report can also remove it if they so wish.
