How to Make Bars and Nightclubs Even Better

Bars and nightclubs are a top place to spend your weekend, however there are a number of things about them that can be improved.
So to any bar and nightclub venue managers reading this article, consider this a little bit of free market research that you can use to improve your venue.
  1. Bathrooms
  2. I'm yet to see a boys bathroom that hasn't got piss all over the place, heaven forbid you have to do a number 2.
Bar and nightclub bathrooms in general are simply disgusting on account of the fact that most guys after 4 or 5 drinks lose their ability to aim.
Whilst I've never had the privilege of going to a girls bathroom at a bar or nightclub, one would imagine it is slightly better.
  3. Flooring
  4. This one is for the girls.
Most bars and nightclubs don't pay too much attention to the flooring.
Generally bars and nightclubs will spend their money elsewhere, however there are specific types of flooring that help reduce the pain associated with wearing high heels.
Company's providing this type of flooring claim their type of flooring material (which from what we can tell is the same material used on hospital floors) greatly reduce the impact on the feet and ankle when walking and dancing.
  5. Free Water
  6. In addition, free water jugs so that you don't have to line up at the bar for it.
  7. Lining Up Out The Front of the Bar/Nightclub
  8. Nothing is worse than lining up for a bar/nightclub when all of a sudden the heavens open and it starts to rain.
As such, I'm yet to see a bar or nightclub that puts up temporary shelter.
In addition, it would also be nice to see bars and nightclubs putting up those portable heaters for people lining up to get in.
  9. Even Money Drink Prices
  10. Nothing is more annoying then drinks cost $4.
    60, or $8.
30, because by the end of the night you end up with a handful of change.
It would be good if bars and clubs just round their drink prices to the nearest 50 cents (EG: $5.
    00, $5.
    50 and $6.
    00).
Some drinks would be cheaper, some more expensive but who cares, as long you don't end up with pockets of change.
  11. Priority Line For People Ordering more than 5 Drinks
  12. I'm not saying there should be a red carpet, but I reckon if you are ordering 5 or more drinks, you should get to go in a shorter line.
This might be my bias as when I go to a bar or nightclub I generally go with a large group of friends but a bit of appreciation for being a good customer would be nice.
  13. Bouncers Coming Up With Better Excuses
  14. I know creativity probably isn't their strong suit, but if a bouncer is going to reject me from a bar or nightclub, I wish he'd come up with something a little better then "guest list only.
" Why not something like "sorry no ultra good looking people tonight, only ugly ones.
    "
