Christian icebreakers are a fun way to get to know other people.
When you start a new small group or connection group, you want to get accustomed to everyone else as soon as possible.
One of the most important things in church is developing relationships with others.
So how can you develop a relationship with someone if you don't know anything about them? This is why Christian icebreakers are such a good idea for everyone who is starting a new group.
Here are a few ideas that you can use to break the ice with your group.
1.
Play two truths and a lie - This game is really fun for a group of any size.
The idea behind it is that you have everyone take a turn telling two true statements about themselves and one lie.
The rest of the people in the group then guess which statement is a lie.
It can make for a lot of laughs.
2.
Never done that- To start this game you give everyone 10 pieces of something (candy, paperclips, etc).
You go around the room and say something that you have never done.
Everyone else in the circle who has done this before has to put one of their items in a bucket in the center.
The last person with an item left is the winner.
3.
Have a Rock Band tournament - This is one of the most popular video games in the world and it is a great way to break the ice and have fun with others.
Let everyone divide up into bands and compete against each other.
You'll be rolling in the floor laughing in no time.
These are just a few different methods that you can use to break the ice for your next group function.
Christian icebreakers are a fantastic way to break down the barriers that separate everyone in a group.
When you can get everyone talking and sharing a good time, you'll be well on your way to having a successful group function.
With the familiarization process out of the way, you can move on to bigger and brighter things for your Christian group.
