Home Remedy for a Water Blister in the Mouth
- Mix one part natural sea salt in three parts warm water, and rinse with the solution twice a day. The sea salt will draw impurities from your tissue and can help reduce the swelling in blisters.
- Rinse your mouth twice a day with a hydrogen peroxide solution, taking care not to swallow before rinsing again with warm water. The solution will help sanitize your mouth and draw impurities from the tissues.
- Use an antimicrobial mouthwash to rinse your mouth thoroughly twice a day. This will help clean the blisters and may hasten healing.
- Create a tincture from ground Indian plum leaves and warm water, and gargle with the mix when you need relief from painful mouth blisters.
- Create a paste from the peel of a lemon rind and white catechu (available at a health food store), and apply it directly to mouth blisters to reduce or eliminate it on contact. Spit, and rinse your mouth with warm water after the treatment.
- Gargle twice a day with a liquid infusion of fenugreek leaves (available at your local health food store) to relieve mouth blisters.
