How to Give Pumpkins to Parrots

- 2). Scoop out the pulp and seeds, removing the stringy bits.
- 3). Spread the seeds flat on a cookie sheet.
- 4). Bake the seeds at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes until they are dry.
- 5). Place the seeds in a resealable plastic bag after they have cooled and place them in the freezer until you are ready to use them.
- 6). Cut the pumpkin halves into manageable wedges and cut away the hard rind.
- 7). Cut the wedges into inch-size chunks.
- 8). Place the wedges into resealable plastic bags and seal them up, and place them in the freezer until you are ready to use them.
