Igigi is one of my "go to" brands for successful spring styling: it's a perfect brand to slip on without much supporting style to deal with. When the fit is fantastic and it hugs your body nicely, all you need to think about is your hair to be out the door for a special event.

Fit

Igigi has introduced new size 12s, which is very exciting for us with smaller waists and, for example, and 42-inch busts.

As Igigi runs on the cusp of generous sizing, it's great to have another option for those who are also half-plus, half-average sized on the top and bottom.

Quality

Igigi offers solid quality without worries. The seams are positively perfect to hold up to stress during moving and stretching, and you can depend on trustworthy, ravel-free serging on jersey pieces is exemplary. Details such as beading will hold up over time with the proper care, although I do recommend dry cleaning every item from Igigi to keep its condition as good as when it arrives. (It's worth the extra effort.)

Wearability/Versatility

If you head onto Igigi's site, you'll find pieces divided into special events, workwear, and casual items-- but I definitely recommend breaking the rules. Sure, the pictured Golden Goddess Dress with shawl can work for just about any cocktail event, but you can easily dress it down for "formal work attire" with strappy wedges and a wrap cropped coat to cover the straps and neckline. Voila! A pleated chiffon skirt that can transition to night--fast.

The Little Black Dress, the Wrap Blouse in Flint Stone, and Boot Cut Pants all work for multiple events and occasions, if you need to save.
