- 1). Locate the reset button under the "Hold" switch near the back of the 2007 Sony Walkman. The reset button is small and circular. You cannot press it with your finger.
- 2). Press and release the reset button with the end of a paper clip to force the Walkman to power down.
- 3). Push the "Power" button on the top of the Walkman to resume your previous activity. The "Power" button has a circle symbol with a vertical line through it.
