Causes

• Your DVD tray may fail to open if it is damaged. Causes of damages can range from things getting stuck in the tray opening to sticky liquid getting caught in the linings. The tray may also fail to open if your DVD is in Standby mode.
  
  

Solution

• Try cleaning around the DVD tray using a lint free cloth. Try turning off your DVD player, then turning it back on. If your DVD player is in Standby mode, press the Standby/On button and try ejecting your disc. Reset the player. Refer to your program's documentation if you are unsure how to do this.
