There are no dearths of diet pills, potions, and equipment that claim to help flatten stomach bulge and get that lean look you have always wanted.  Sadly, miracle solutions don't come in a bottle or a single piece of equipment that may whittle away your middle as promised.  Still, we buy one product after the other in hopes that it will eventually be the one that works. 

Keep in mind that the picture of the model on the package is just that : a model.  Showing an example of rock hard abs doesn't mean that the product they're advertising was employed to flatten stomach bulge and give them the six-pack they now have.  They may have never even exploited the product.  

The 1st clue that things are not one hundred percent legit should be that the product is made to burn fat and the model has a muscular, fit body that might only come from strength training.  No matter what sort of product you use, the sole way to develop muscle is thru strength training exercises and no quantity of pills or diet drinks is intending to do it for you.  The only way to reveal the muscles you build is to burn off the fat that's covering them.  

If you have a tummy that wishes to be flattened, then you're going to need to lose the fat that is covering your abdominal muscles.  You are also going to have to firm up the muscles that make your belly flat.  For the majority of those who need to flatten stomach bulge, simply burning off fat will make a giant difference.  It is possible that you already have toned intestinal muscles under the layer of fat that's covering your gut and that losing the fat is the one thing you need to get the gut you would like.
