    Set Up the Transmitter

    • 1). Locate a place to set up the transmitter. Place it on a table that is at the center of the pet area and at least three feet from any large metal objects that may interfere with the transmitter. It must be in a dry and well-protected area where the temperature will not fall below freezing.

    • 2). Plug the power adapter into a standard 120-volt outlet and turn the transmitter on.

    • 3). Turn the boundary switch on "High" and set the boundary control dial to "8."

    Prepare the Receiver Collar

    • 1). Determine if you are using the short contact points installed on the collar. If your pet has long or thick hair, replace the short points with the long points.

    • 2). Insert the battery by aligning the arrow symbol on the battery with the triangle symbol on the collar. Turn the battery clockwise until the arrow lines up with the lock symbol.

    • 3). Remove the round, plastic cover on the side of the receiver over the correction level button.

    • 4). Press the button and release when the receiver LED Indicator Light emits a series of flashes that indicate the static correction level. Refer to the chart that came with the system to choose a level for your pet.

    • 5). Press and release the button within five seconds of the flashes to increase to the desired level.

    Determine the Boundary Zone

    • 1). Hold the collar at the height of your pet's neck and walk along the edge of the where you want the pet area. As you walk around the pet area, a second person will slowly turn down the boundary control dial.

    • 2). Listen for the collar to start beeping. This beeping indicates that you are at the edge of the boundary. When it beeps, ask the person to stop turning the dial.

    • 3). Hold the collar at the height of your pet's neck and walk out toward the edge of the pet area until it beeps.

    • 4). Place a flag in the ground and walk back until the collar stops beeping. Repeat this process every 10 feet until you flag the entire boundary zone.

Fit the Receiver Collar on Your Pet

    • 1). Place the collar on your pet and center the contact points underneath the neck. The contact points should be touching the skin. Trim pet hair if necessary.

    • 2). Insert one finger between the contact point and your pet. It should be snug, but your finger should still fit.

    • 3). Remove the collar and trim off any excess. Place collar back on pet. The wireless fence installation is complete and will safely contain your pet.
