How to Play Bachi Ball
- 1). Go to the end of the bocce court your team captain assigns you to.
- 2). Watch as a coin is tossed between the team captains to determine which team goes first. The winner chooses the color of his team's balls and throws the pallino.
- 3). Wait while the winner of the coin toss throws the pallino underhand from behind the pointing foul line. It must land over the center line, at least one foot from the backboard without hitting it. The pallino may be bounced off a sideboard but must stop at least one foot from each sideboard.
- 4). Observe while the same player also throws the first bocce ball underhand, from behind the pointing foul line.

Assess which ball is closest to the pallino after all balls have been played. This is called the in ball. The team that played the in ball is awarded a point for each of its balls that is closer to the pallino than the opposing team's closest ball. A team will score one to four points per frame. - 8). Decide which team scores in the current frame. That team throws the pallino and first bocce ball in the next frame.
- 9). Determine which team scores 12 points first. That team wins the game. The first team to win two games wins a typical bocce ball match.
