  Tennis camps, along with tennis clinics, are a great way to learn how to play or just improve your strokes. There are a number of tennis camps in Delaware for adults and children, beginners, intermediate, and advanced players. Many of the camps in Delaware are a week long, month long or last the whole summer, and specialize in developing tennis skills through drills, teaching game strategies, and challenging students in friendly tournaments.

• Sea Colony Tennis is located at Bethany Beach, on the south coast of Delaware,on the grounds of The Sea Colony Resort. Sea Colony Tennis operates a number of tennis camps for adults and juniors during the week, as well as eight-hour weekend camps. Camps are taught by US Professional Tennis Association (USPTA) Certified Tennis instructor Thomas Johnston, and Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) assistant coaches, Pete Silverman and Stephen G. Delaware Tennis Center

• Delaware Tennis Center is located at the Bellevue State Park in Wilmington, Delaware. Camps are taught at the Delaware Tennis Center or the Jewish Community Center on Garden of Eden Rd. The center offers adult, beginner, and intermediate camps, Mondays through Thursdays, 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Junior tennis day camps are four weeks in duration, and are for children ages 5 to 14, at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels.

• Marty Godwin Tennis, offering camps and clinics, is located in Rehoboth Beach, and operates out of the North Shores' Bath and Tennis Club, the Henlopen Acres Beach Club, and The Village of Bear Trap Dunes Recreational Center. Camps are taught and run by professional tennis teacher Marty Godwin, and a number of qualified tennis coaches. Marty Godwin Tennis offers a quick start beginner summer tennis camp for kids from 4 to 12, where kids learn the tennis fundamentals. Dave Marshall Tennis Academies

• Dave Marshall Tennis Academies is headquartered in Lewes, and operates tennis camps out of the Dave Marshall Tennis Center. Camps are run by USPTA Middle States Pro of the Year, Delaware Pro of the Year, and tennis director, Dave Marshall. The tennis center houses three indoor, one outdoor hard court, and three outdoor har-tru clay courts. The tennis center features week-long tennis camps throughout the spring and fall, and junior summer camps for kids ages 7 to 17. Camps are held Monday through Friday, from the morning until the afternoon.
