What exactly makes your dining experience at a luxury hotel memorable? Is it the environment? Is it the dishes? Or is it the staff? A number of things need to be taken in to consideration when looking for an exceptionally luxurious experience when dining at a luxury hotel. You might be a fan of great architecture or a soothing ambience, almost everyone has their own definition of luxury, however, in this article are some of the basic things you should never compromise on when looking for luxury-filled dine in experience.

Number#1- The Restaurants
The most obvious and the basic feature you should be looking for are your options. A 5-star hotel would most probably provide a number of options when it comes to food, which means there won't be one restaurant you can dine in, there would be many. The top luxury hotels around the world have separate restaurants for each type of cuisine. Whether it is Chinese, continental, Thai, Middle Eastern, or you are just looking for good juicy steak. A luxury hotel would have a separate hotel for each type of cuisine. Some hotels also offer the services of a personal chef who can cook whatever you want him/her to.

Number#2- The Ambience
The ambience matters and it matters a lot! While some restaurants might offer the ambience according to the type of cuisine served there for example, if it is Chinese cuisine, the environment would have fragrance sticks, hanging lights and an overall Chinese touch to it. While this is the norm, some restaurants take your dining experience up a notch, like offering dinner at a terrace or the rooftop, or even by the beach shore. Remember you are looking for a luxury dine in experience, so do not settle for anything lesser than extraordinary.

Number#3- The Consistency
So you just loved the steak you had a 5 star hotel and would love to have it again, but what luxury is there if you are unable to feel the same taste again? Luxury dining means consistency every time you visit the restaurant, from the food to even the way the napkins are folded. Everything should be the same in all your visits.

Number#4- The Staff
The staff is a quite obvious and important part of your luxurious dining experience, everyone from the chef to the waiter and the floor manager should be naturally courteous, warm, and welcoming. They should have a natural smile on their face, willing to accept any complaints as well. If you notice rude staff or people who are not cooperative, this won't really make your dining experience lavish.

These are just some of the things that make up for a lavish dining experience, so the next time you feel the urge to go for a lush dine in, be sure all these aspects are covered.
