How do I Unlock Palm T5?
- 1). Unlock the selected data by entering the password when you are prompted to do so. If you have lost the password, you can delete that password and create a new one.
- 2). Delete the lost password by pressing the "Home" button twice to open the application screen and tapping "Prefs > Security" to open the "Security" screen.
- 3). Open the "Incorrect Password" dialog box by selecting the "Password Box" and then using the keypad to enter any number. Select "OK."
- 4). Select "Lost Password > Delete Password." The lost password is now deleted. Your data is no longer password-protected.
- 5). Synchronize the T5 to restore any private entries that were deleted along with the lost password.
- 1). Press and hold in the T5 "Power" button.
- 2). Press and release the "Reset" button (inside a hole on the back of the T5) while still holding in the T5 "Power" button.
- 3). Wait for the "Palm Powered" logo to appear on the screen, and release the "Power" button.
- 4). Perform a hard reset when you see a message warning you about losing all the info on the T5 by pressing "Up" on the five-way navigator (the oval ring surrounding the center button on the bottom of the T5 face). The T5 will now reset itself to the factory original state.
- 5). Synchronize the T5 to restore all the user data from the last time the T5 was synchronized.
