    SIM Card & Battery

    • Before you use your phone, you must insert your SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card and charge your battery. Your SIM card holds all of your personal information, such as phone numbers, addresses, saved voicemails and test messages. Turn your phone off. Lift the battery cover off the back of your phone. Insert the SIM card into the phone first. Next, place the battery into the phone. Replace the cover. New batteries are never fully charged, so charge your phone. The phone will inform you when charging is complete by displaying "Charge Complete" on the screen.

    Using Your RAZR V3xx

    • Hold the red power button down for a few seconds to power up the phone. Follow the same process to power down the phone. Note: You may be prompted to enter your 8-digit SIM card PIN or 4-digit unlock code. If you enter the code incorrectly three consecutive times, you must contact your provider. To place a call, simply dial the phone number and press the "Send" button. You can disconnect the call by pressing the "End" button or by closing the phone. To send a text message, press the Center Key to open the Menu Options. Use the Navigation Key to scroll to Messaging (indicated by an envelope icon). Press the Center key to select this option. Use the Navigation Key to scroll to Create Message and press the Center Key to select. To store a number in your address book, enter the phone number and press the Store key. If the entry applies to a new contact, select Create New Contact. Enter your contact's information and press Done to complete. To locate your phone number, select the Clear Key, press the pound key (#), and select Line 1. This will show display your phone number. To view your phone number while on a call, press "Options" and "My Tel. Number."

    Bluetooth Wireless

    • You must pair your Bluetooth device with your RAZR V3xx before you can use them together. To pair, turn both devices on. Place your Bluetooth device in pairing mode following the manufacturer's instructions. Next, place your phone in pairing mode. From the home screen, select "Options", "Use Bluetooth", and "Add Audio Device". The display will list all device in range. Select the applicable device, then press "Yes" or "OK" to connect to the device. You may be prompted to enter the device passkey or PIN. If so, enter 0000 and press "OK". It may take a moment for the pairing process to complete. Once the process has finished, the Bluetooth indicator icon will appear on the display screen.
