How to Use a Cell Phone as a Tracking Device
- 1). Create a Google Gmail account and log in.
- 2). Select the "Latitude" file menu option in the Google Account menu options. Enter your mobile phone number in the cell phone number text field that appears on the menu screen (see Resources below).
- 3). Select the "Manually set my location" menu option on the next screen. Once your location is updated on the map that is displayed on the Latitude configuration screen, select the "Automatically Update My Position" menu option.
- 4). Choose the "Send Latitude Invitations" menu option and select Google Gmail contacts to invite to join the Google Latitude network.
- 5). Once your friends join Google Latitude, view their location on the Google Latitude map that is displayed on the top page of the Latitude page in your Google account.
