Different Uses of Organic Aloe Vera Gel For the Skin and How to Make Your Own at Home

I still prefer to use organic aloe vera gel than the commercially-prepared products we have in the market today.
Although they claim to be 100% natural, I still want to make my own, aside from it's a lot cheaper this way, I can be sure that there are no added chemicals in my gel.
To make your own gel at home, you will need an aloe plant, 500mg of Vitamin C and 400IU of Vitamin E.
For Vitamin E, buy one of those softgel capsules so it will be easy for you to prick it and squeeze the content out.
Slice the aloe leaf in half and carefully and slowly peel off the outer skin.
Use a spoon to scoop out the gel.
Crush the Vitamin C tablet into powder (you can use the back of the spoon) and then drain the contents of the Vitamin E into the mixture.
Ratio would be 1 500 mg Vitamins C and 1 400 IU Vitamin E for every ¼ cup of organic aloe vera gel.
You can either blend the mixture using a blender or just beat it with a spoon.
Using a blender is definitely easier and it's great if you don't want a lumpy mixture.
Place it in a clean tightly-sealed container and put it in the refrigerator.
You can keep this for up to 8 months.
You can use your homemade organic aloe vera gel for your skin.
Yes it does wonders to the skin! The healing properties of the extract is good in treating minor abrasions, cuts, scalds, blisters, cold sores and rashes.
The soothing and anti-bacterial properties on the other hand is great for sunburns and insect bites.
I always put the gel on itchy insect bites and I swear it works immediately.
I never believed it until I tried this very simple home remedy.
I like the cooling sensation it brings to my skin.
The gel has the ability to stimulate skin regenerating cells.
Apply it on the wound for at least 3 times a day until it is completely healed to reduce the appearance of scarring.
If you have dry skin, you will also benefit from organic aloe vera gel.
Use it as an overall moisturizer for your face and body and you will feel the difference instantly.
It softens and keeps the skin hydrated and moisturized and because of its skin renewal properties, you can use it to reduce wrinkles and treat acne.
