If you are lucky enough to have more than one person pining for your attention, good for you.
You are amongst the rare few that can juggle more than one person and still keep their story straight.
Or can you? The following will take a close look at the fun times and the not so fun times associated with solo dating as well as those that can date multiple people at one time.
Dating Multiple People At One Time Dating one person is difficult enough.
Are you sure you have it in you to go on multiple dates with multiple different potential mates? Hopefully you aren't the one paying for all of these dates.
If you do manage to have all of these dates paid for, you then have to keep your stories straight and, whatever you do, you need to keep the names straight from one date to the next.
If you trump up and you get a name wrong or you manage to start a fight because one date saw you with another, you might find yourself with lots of drama on your hands.
Be sure that you are ready for all of this before you jump into the multiple dating world.
On the other hand, dating multiple people can be incredibly rewarding.
You get to experience new things with different personalities and you can essentially try your dates on for size to see which one fits best.
Dating multiple people is not unlike trying on clothes in the dressing room.
How can you know which one is the best if you don't try them all on? That being said, be prepared because there can be a lot of headaches involved when you invite multiple dating partners into the mix.
Dating One Person When you date one person at a time, you only have to tell one story to one person and you only have to remember one name.
You can get to know that person more intimately and you increase your chances of forming a long-term relationship because you two will be focusing so much on one another.
On the other hand, dating only one person doesn't allow you to see what else is out there.
How do you know if you are settling if you get into a long-term relationship with the first person you date? These are important questions and there are no easy answers.
The best advice is to date those with which you can see yourself spending time with years down the road.
And therein lies the lesson.
If you want to keep drama to a minimum and you want to turn the fun up to the max, you will learn to date only those people you genuinely like and have affection for.
If you can't see yourself with someone years down the road, don't waste their time or yours.
They may be fun to hang out with but don't string them along.
Don't let them string you along, either.
If you focus on one or more than one person who is truly right for you, you'll have the perfect dating balance and you will be sure to have much more fun on every date you go on.
