Serious Side Effects

• Serious side effects of Bromfenex are unlikely, but can have harmful consequences. It is crucial to get emergency medical attention if you experience any of these side effects. They include irregular or rapid heartbeat, not being able to urinate or problems with urinating, changes in vision, extreme dizziness, headache, feeling lightheaded, convulsions, hallucinations and tremors.
  
  

Allergic Reactions

• Serious allergic reactions to Bromfenex are also rare, but also can be potentially harmful. If you notice any signs of allergic reaction, get emergency medical assistance. • Bromfenex is not necessarily safe or appropriate for everybody. Discuss the medication with your health care provider before starting to take it. This is particularly important for people with ulcers, difficulty with urination, lung-related problems (like emphysema), hypertension, diabetes, adrenal gland tumor (or other problems related to the adrenal gland), bladder, intestine, or stomach blockage, overactive thyroid, seizures, glaucoma, stroke or enlarged prostate.
  
  

Drug Interactions

• Drug interactions can alter the effectiveness of medications that are involved. There are medicines that could potentially cause interactions with Bromfenex, such as droxidopa and digoxin (both could increase chances of heart attack and irregular heartbeat), beta blockers (could intensify side effects of Bromfenex), mecamylamine, guanadrel, reserpine, methyldopa, guanethidine, hydantoins and bromocriptine. If you are taking any of these drugs, tell your doctor.
