Plans

• As a Verizon Wireless customer, you can choose from a selection of individual or family plans. If you would rather not sign a monthly or annual contract, you can opt for a pre-paid plan.
  
  

Mobile to Mobile

• If you sign a contract for any plan that is $39.99 and up (as of June 2011), Verizon Wireless offers free mobile to mobile calling. This means when a family member or friend is also a Verizon Wireless customer, your cell phone conversations do not count toward your allotted airtime minutes. Verizon Wireless even provides a page where you can enter a phone number to see if it is in the mobile to mobile family.
  
  

Friends & Family

• As part of the Friends & Family program, Verizon Wireless lets you choose up to five or 10 phone numbers from a different mobile carrier. Minutes accrued from any calls made to these five numbers will not count toward your allotted airtime. You can edit your Friends & Family list at any time via My Verizon online or by calling your local Verizon Wireless store for assistance.
  
  

International Plans

• If you plan to make frequent calls to family members and friends who do not live in the United States, or if you want to use your cell phone during your travels outside of the U.S., you can select the international plan that best suits your needs.
