In StarCraft II, the Terran V Protoss matchup is something that can is very fun and extremely balanced.
In fact StarCraft 2 is great because it's probably the most balanced game out there! Okay, well I'm going to give you some of the nicest strategies that both players can use in order to gain an advantage over their opponent and win a ton more games! Protoss Strategy Vs.
Terran Opponent
Okay so here's a mini strategy guide of a protoss players in what they should do against Terran opponents.
Okay first of all, you want to make srue that you are having a nice build order.
You first of all, want a build order that will set you up for the nice economy.
You also want to make sure that you are blocking off any potential threats with marines and everything.
I do not recommend a zealot rush, especially against a skilled Terran because it can mean the end of your campaign.
Of course if you're an expert you already know this, but if you're just beginning, you may be tempted.
You want to make sure that you are building a nice combination of zealots, sentries, immortals, colossi, and even stalkers (stalkers are nice because you can micro nicely with their "blink" ability, but this takes a lot of practice and skill so definitely read up on some tutorials) If the enemy has a nice amount of air units, you may want to switch to stalkers instead of zealots.
If you see siege tanks and thors, you may want to switch to immortals.
When facing Maruaders, you may want to go against Colossi, and use your sentry to use force field or even illusion so you can distract your opponents.
When trying to start your best bet is to be reactive and versatile, and try to go for early expansions when playing terran players.
You want to go with the early observer to see what your opponent is doing and reacting to the situation! Terran Strategy Vs.
Protoss
You want to try to go for the marines, because immortals and void rays are generally weak against Marines (they have to recharge their beam for every marine, void rays are good for destroying structures and high hp units) You want to get Marauders if you see your enemy buildings tons of stalkers and/or sentries, siege tanks being a must half because of their range while in siege mode and great against sentry units.
You want to have the Vikings to support your marines and to pick up banshees (even have them cloaked) if you see your enemy building immortals and colossi.
And ghosts are great because they can nuke and even give out their EMP ability which is great against your opponents!
