World of Warcraft"s Karazhan Attumen the Huntsman Boss Strategy
Karazhan, better known as Kara, is a level 70 instance in Dead wind Pass. Its bosses can be a challenge without a good strategy. Here is how to get started.
The first boss in the Karazhan instance is Attumen the Huntsman and his horse, Midnight. When you get to the boss you will find a horse named Midnight and some stables. This is about 30 minutes into the instance.
All of the mobs should be cleared before getting to this boss, or they will be called to aid him. This means quickly killing the boss before the mobs have a chance to re-spawn.
When you get to Midnight, have the tank grab the horse by attacking it. It is immune to taunts, so the tank will have to hold the horse with sheer agro. Once the tank has agro, the rest of the group should start DPS from behind the horse because players in front of the horse will be charged and knocked down.
At 95% health, Midnight summons Attumen the Huntsman. The off-tank should start DPS on him, and hold him. Taunts will not work on Attumen the Huntsman, either, so the off-tank should be the only player doing DPS on him.
The rest of the raid group should concentrate their DPS on Midnight until he gets to 25% health. Then, Attumen the Huntsman will heal Midnight and regain full health.
They will join to become one boss, with one health bar, so the tank should regain agro. The rest of the raid group should move to the back of the horse, again, and do DPS.
During this time, Midnight will do a curse called Intangible Presence that casts every 30 seconds on the entire raid. It reduces melee, ranged, and spell attacks by 50%. Have casters de-spell the group.
DPS should keep going until Midnight and Attumen the Huntsman are dead. These gold making tips will get you started on filling your bank- but for even more tricks; check out the Warcraft Millionaire gold guide [http://www.worldofstrats.com/WarcraftMillionaire/tabid/86/Default.aspx].
