Instead Of The Streak, The Wink
There is everything scary about a winking naked man with "a fat stomach" or "beer belly", especially in front of a woman who does not want the man.
I realized this in a gym shower when the Bally Gymnasium Company was in existence.
I did not wink personally, but I knew a guy who did without his "perfect washboard stomach" or toned abdomen in operation, if you know what I mean.
Nobody is perfect, sometimes not even acceptable.
But as Ray Stevens once said, "everything is beautiful in its own way.
" It is a funny thing, but a wink is more intimidating than a nude streak sometimes, although the implications of a nude streak have stranger implications.
What do you feel when life seems to taunt you with a wink? I know what I feel, I do not feel like settling, I feel as full of action and anger as a charging bull, only much more patient and calm.
To me, naked anger is the worst way to react to any situation.
If it was the best way, we would get what we want negatively and get away with it totally well.
It does not work that way.
When life winks, we must be cool and act reasonably the most.
The real taunt comes when you are too angry to pause, and it comes from within, not from without.
I remember how many times I realized this and how life and existence are at their best when I am cool, grateful for the lesson and appreciative.
I'd rather streak in a full Armani suit instead of a "birthday suit" in that sense.
Be cool instead of be angry? Yes.
Recently, I was talking to my Mom on the phone, and this was a few days ago.
Sometimes she "complains about my faults".
I see it all as teaching me to be disciplined and virtuous.
That is where I wink at life and cooly live better than I would without the lesson because if I can take complaints from those who really love me, I can take anything.
I am thinking of that Ray Charles song "Night and Day"/ Marvin Gaye, right now.
What more humorous "stuff" can I put into this article other than my encouragement to build a better mouse trap and the world will come beating a path to your door? Not too much.
But I will say this, be a winner inside yourself and all else will be added outside.
