Is Stopping Him From Snoring Possible?

Stopping snoring is an absolutely universal problem, one that is experienced by about one in every two couples.
If you don't snore (or don't think you do!), then there is a pretty good chance that your partner does.
It's a funny world where we can't find a way to pair up all the snorers, and then pair up all the non-snorers! If you have just gotten into a relationship, whether it is a new boyfriend or girlfriend, a spouse, a new roommate, or even a very loud neighbor next door, stopping the snoring may be the first thing you have to deal with.
In fact, snoring is considered one the major issues that comes up between couples, and more often than not, it is the man that is the culprit.
One of the issues with snoring is that the person who is doing it doesn't believe that they are.
Even though people around them are continually complaining and telling them of the snoring, they either don't believe it or feel like they are being picked on.
After all, if they are doing it, then it certainly isn't their fault.
The particular quandary of snoring is that the person who is snoring not only doesn't believe that they are doing it, but they sleep soundly through it.
For that reason, it is not unheard of for one partner to actually make an audio or video recording of the snorer in action.
This is usually enough to make them seek help to begin stopping snoring.
There are many old wives' tales about how to stop a man from snoring, but few of them work.
The real problem is that some people have a tendency to sleep with their mouth wide open, and that is what creates the snoring sound.
You will find that when you roll a snorer over on their side, the sounds usually stop, and that is because their mouth then becomes closed.
Generally speaking, people who tend to spend a lot of time sleeping on their back also are the heaviest snorers.
It is part of the human physiology that when someone is on his or her back, if totally relaxed, the jaw will drop, and then sounds will begin to come from it.
Although there are many medications, holistic preparations, and devices that claim to help people stop snoring, in reality, there is only one way to do that, and that is to shut the person's jaw.
By using a device that helps to keep the jaw at least partly closed and forward, you will find that sounds simply won't come out of the mouth anymore.
Of course, there may be underlying issues that are at cause, such as sleep apnea, but you won't know that until you can put an end to the sound.
One of the major issues that breaks up relationships is snoring.
Before you let it happen to your relationship, remember that stopping snoring is possible, but you will need the person who snores to admit to it and seek out the assistance he or she needs.
