Publishers and online users are not the only ones to impress when writing articles for the web.
Aside from them, you also need to keep search engines in mind, particularly Google so you can secure better page ranking for your articles.
You would want your copies to show up on the first search page results, right? Here's how you can do that: 1.
Identify the best topics to target.
If you think that the best keywords to target are those that are extremely popular, think again.
You see, most of your competitors will surely target these terms and that will leave you with slim chances of making it on the top 10 search page results.
So, it's a smart idea to target those terms that are not extremely competitive but are still popular in your chosen niche.
2.
Strategically place your keywords all throughout your articles.
You can't just put 10 keywords on your first paragraph and hope that you'll swing it.
Help search spiders in analyzing your content by making your keywords visible on all parts of your articles.
I recommend that you place them on each of your paragraphs preferably on your first and last sentences.
Don't forget to use them on your titles and on your resource box (if you're posting your articles on directories).
3.
Use words that are synonymous to the keywords that you're targeting.
This technique is known as latent semantic indexing.
Major search engines particularly Google are giving this technique so much weight when indexing articles so make sure that you use it.
