The first thing you need to do to stop this infection from spreading is to stop touching or pricking at your face.

If you have a skin that is irritated then you can apply cortisone gel to it.
To cover the pimples and also to reduce the pain and swelling you can apply an ice-pack to the affected areas and hold it for about five minutes or more.
Do this repeatedly every 30 minutes.
