How to Recycle Dell Laser Cartridges
- 1). Place your old Dell laser toner cartridge in its original carton or the carton that the new cartridge came in. Seal the carton shut with clear packing tape. If you no longer have either toner cartridge packaging, place the cartridge in a shipping box instead.
- 2). Click the "Dell Product Recycling" link in the Resources section. Click the "Recycle Now" button in the "Toner Recycling" section on the web page that opens.
- 3). Enter your contact information into the Online Waybill Form that appears on the screen and then click the "Submit" link to generate the waybill, or prepaid shipping label
- 4). Print out the FedEx shipping label and tape it to your box with the clear packing tape.
- 5). Schedule a FedEx package pickup or drop off the box at a FedEx shipping location. To schedule a pickup, call 800-GoFedEx (463-3339) or go to the FedEx home page, highlight "Ship" under the "Package/Envelope" tab, select "Schedule a Pickup" and follow the instructions on the web page that opens. To drop off the box, call FedEx for local drop-off point information or go to the FedEx home page, click the "FedEx Locations" link at the top of the page or "Find Locations" on the "Ship" drop-down menu and follow the on-screen instructions.
- 6). Hand your package off to a FedEx driver or drop off the cartridge at your closest FedEx.
