CO2 Causing Massive Climate Change - Doubtful I"ve Been Saying for Years
We have been told by the global warming alarmists over the last 15 years that mankind's emissions of CO2 is causing massive climate change, and we are reaching a tipping point that will be unstoppable.
They also claim that major calamities will persist if we reach and pass that tipping point.
They've asked us to cut our pollution of CO2 emissions by a substantial rate.
However, no one has ever proven that CO2 emissions cause global warming.
Do you see the problem with this? Now there is a new study out which suggests that CO2 is not as big of a deal as once perceived by these same climate scientists or alarmists.
Apparently new research shows that mankind's emissions of CO2 is not of great concern.
Maybe we should talk about this for a second, look at the data, and understand how CO2 really affects our climate, and how much of it is really caused by man.
The BBC had an interesting article recently on 25 November 2011 titled; "CO2 climate sensitivity 'overestimated' The last glaciation saw ice sheets extend to almost 40 degrees north," by Jennifer Carpenter Science reporter.
The article stated; "Global temperatures could be less sensitive to changing atmospheric carbon dioxide (CO2) levels than previously thought, a study suggests.
The researchers said people should still expect to see "drastic changes" in climate worldwide, but that the risk was a little less imminent.
Results of study published in Science.
Previous climate models have tended to used meteorological measurements from the past 150 years to estimate the climate's sensitivity to rising CO2.
" Okay so, let's discuss this shall we? You see, 97.
5% of all the CO2 in the atmosphere is caused by nature, it isn't caused by mankind's emissions.
Further CO2 is a trace gas, and as a percentage of the total atmosphere and atmospheric gases, it is quite small.
We don't have anything similar to a runaway greenhouse effect, even if mankind's emissions of CO2 increases by double, triple, or quadruple.
It just isn't that big of a deal.
No, that doesn't mean we should go out of pollute our environment, after all we have to breathe the air, and CO2 in high percentages is not something you can't breathe very easily without coughing.
Nevertheless, it almost seems like we've been fed a bill of goods with regards to global warming, and now climate scientists are being brought back into check, and expected to put forth real science, not fictional fantasy.
Indeed I hope you will please consider all this and think on it.
