The Advantages of Being in a Relationship Vs The Advantages of Being Single

While the main aim of my game here is to Help YOU Date, I am not a firm believer in the opinion that you need to be in a relationship in order to be happy.
I enjoy helping people find someone to love or helping them to better their current relationships, but I also think that if you are single it is not such a bad thing.
You know how people with curly hair and people with straight hair often wish they had it the other way around? Well the same thing goes for our relationship status.
People who are single usually don't want to be and people who are involved often wish they were single again.
The grass is always greener on the other side...
or so we like to think! I urge you to look at the positive side of your relationship status regardless of what it may be.
I have highlighted what some of these are below to help you realise that what you have is a good thing.
Advantages of Being Single:
  • You get to hang out with your friends more often than people who are coupled up or married.
  • You get the entire bed to yourself.
No one to wake you up by snoring.
No one to accidentally hit you in the face with their elbow and then claim that you hit yourself.
No one to steal the covers...
    etc.
  • You can eat and drink whatever you like.
Often couples have to compromise on certain choices they would normally make for the sake of their partner.
  • You get to choose what you watch on TV.
No watching sports or soppy drama's if you don't want to.
  • You can decide where you want to go and who you want to go with.
You do not need to ask permission from anyone.
Advantages of Being in a Relationship / Marriage
  • You have someone to go places with.
It's no fun going to the movies or trying out a new restaurant on your own.
  • You no longer have to suffer the trials and tribulations of family get-togethers on your own.
Your partner is there to suffer with you.
  • You don't have to do the washing up or cleaning on your own.
You have someone there to help you.
  • You have someone to look after you when you are ill, or someone to scratch your back when it itches.
  • You have someone to talk to.
Someone who knows you inside out.
Someone you can tell all of life's problems to.
These are just a few examples, some of which you may have known already, but it helps to have them pointed out once in a while to keep things in perspective.
