    • 2). Use a screwdriver to unscrew the nuts that connect the seat cushion to the seat frame. These are located on the front underside of the seat. Place the seat and the nuts aside.

    • 3). Unscrew the two nuts that connect the seat frame to the mower. These are near the rear of the seat frame underneath the removed cushion. Place these nuts aside in a safe place. The bolts will remain attached to the mower.

    • 4). Lift up on the arm rests to remove the seat frame. Place the seat frame aside.

    • 5). Unscrew the nuts and bolts that connect the seat cushion to the front of the new seat frame. Place the nuts, bolts, and seat cushion aside.

    • 6). Discard any packaging materials used to protect the new seat while it was in transport. Place the seat frame on top of the mower. Line up the rear holes on the seat frame with the rear bolts on the mower.

    • 7). Retrieve the nuts unscrewed earlier and use them to secure the new seat frame to your mower. Use the wrench to tighten the nuts.

    • 8). Place the new seat cushion so the holes in the front line up with the front holes on the seat frame. Place the bolts into the holes and use the wrench to tighten the nuts.

    • 9). Pull up on the armrests to verify the seat is properly installed.
