- Home buiders may use a variety of logos for their businesses.logo home image by Jesse-lee Lang from Fotolia.com
No matter how small your home building business is, having a logo is a must. A good logo sets you apart from the crowd and helps customers recognize you. A memorable logo leads to customer loyalty, which leads to greater income for your business. If you're a home builder, having a logo that fits your company is very important. Ideally, a customer should be able to tell, merely by looking at your logo, what type of company you run. Fortunately, the possibilities are endless. - A hammer makes a ubiquitous logo, instantly recognizable as being associated with the building of things. To spice it up, your logo could be two hammers---or a hammer and another tool---crossed. Images of power tools also make for good logos, and give your business a more modern, and less traditional feel. Screws and nails also make good logo elements: you could arrange a number of screws to form the initial letter of your business name, for example.
- Other random construction-related objects also are great in home builders' logos. Examples are ladders, hard hats, 2 x 4's, etc. You can include a number of items in a logo to represent variety or comprehensiveness, or show only a single object for greater simplicity. Having your image in a unique artistic style adds individuality to it: a silhouette of a stepladder, for example, or a Picasso-like toolbox.
- Perhaps the type of logo the most easily identifiable with home builders is one involving an image of a house. Whether you show an entire house (simplified, so as not to be overly complex) or just the stud frame of roof, you will instantly show customers that your company works with houses.
