How to Install a PHP Java Bridge
- 1). Follow the link provided in the Resources section below. It will lead to the PHP/Java Bridge download page.
- 2). Click the first available download: "JavaBridgeTemplate5442.war." It will highlight when the mouse cursor rolls over it.
- 3). Check "Save File" when asked if you want to save the file, and then click "OK."
- 4). Double-click the newly download file. It will appear in either a "Downloads" pop-up window or as an icon on the desktop.
- 5). Click "OK" and then "Run" when asked if you want to run the program. If you are missing Java Framework applications, then the PHP/Java bridge will not be installed onto your computer. The second link in the Resources section provides a full list of available Java downloads.
- 6). Click "Install" when the Java installation screen loads.
- 7). Close out all applications that use the Internet. This includes Web browsers, instant messengers, Microsoft Outlook and iTunes. This is required because some of these programs will be upgraded with the Java software, and it is not possible while they are open.
- 8). Click "OK" when all programs are closed. The installation will begin.
- 9). Click "Close" when a pop-up windows states that the installation has completed.
