This could be something going wrong with the male reproductive system, or indeed, it could be in the woman. However, since the man has a much simpler system, they usually start the investigation with him first. Whatever is wrong with the couple, and this could be any number of things for sure, the clinic may have to take the eggs from the woman and the sperms from the man and put them together under clinical situations. Once the fetus stage is accomplished, this will be transplanted back into the woman for a normal pregnancy to proceed.
